Job summary

Boston University is seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, plants, shrubs, trees, and irrigation systems on the Charles River Campus in Boston, MA. The role includes snow removal and operating related equipment to keep outdoor spaces safe and presentable.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in landscape construction, lawn maintenance, irrigation, and snow removal, plus a valid MA driver’s license and a Mass Hoisting License (2B). Fluent English and outdoor work ability are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of landscape construction experience.
• 3 years of lawn maintenance experience.
• 3 years of irrigation experience, installing and troubleshooting.
• 3 years of snow removal experience with equipment (plows, snow blowers, etc).
• Must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Must have and maintain a Mass Hoisting License, minimum 2B.
• Must speak, read, understand and write fluently in English.

Responsibilities
