Warm Hearth Inc in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a dedicated Grounds Worker to join the village grounds team. This full-time role runs 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime in winter.

You must work outdoors in all weather and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities include planting, trimming, mulching, weeding, and supporting mowing, weed eaters, trimmer, chainsaw, and pressure washer tasks.

Job description

Come be the spark at Warm Hearth! We're looking for a dedicated Grounds Worker. This position will be part of a team responsible for the upkeep of the grounds Village-wide. Previous experience in planting, trimming, mulching, weeding, and snow removal will be helpful, as will knowledge of using mowers, weed eaters, trimmer, chainsaw, pressure washer, and all grounds-related hand tools.This is a FT position with an expected schedule of 7:00am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.Some overtime will be required contingent of winter weather. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to walk at least 2 hours per day. Lifting and moving up to 50lbs.Valid Driver's License and Background check required.Expected pay rate is competitive. We also offer a robust benefits package.
