Job summary

XKIG is hiring for a Groundsperson/Tree Groundsman in Washougal, WA. You will support the crew from the ground, clearing brush and trees, loading materials, and assisting with debris cleanup and storm restoration work as needed.

The position requires physical fitness, ability to work outdoors, and the use of hand tools and power equipment. Safety-first mindset and reliable transportation are important.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of physically demanding outdoor work in variable weather.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with hand tools and power equipment like saws and pruners is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support crew by clearing brush and trees from ground level.
• Load/unload materials and assist with debris removal.
• Clear undergrowth from right-of-way using hand tools and equipment.
• Assist with road signage, traffic control, and storm restoration work as needed.
• Maintain safety practices and assist with basic vehicle/equipment upkeep.
