Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Groundsperson in Gore, OK to support lubrication, inspections, and daily plant operations. The role involves operating a skid steer, maintaining equipment, and assisting with maintenance tasks to keep production moving safely and reliably.

This hands-on position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered along with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Problem-solving and proactive maintenance mindset.
• Clear communication and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience in plant operations or lubrication is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply lubricants to conveyor bearings, crushing equipment bearings, and other plant components.
• Perform thorough visual inspections for leaks, wear, or maintenance concerns.
• Communicate inspection findings and recommend servicing or repairs.
• Operate a skid steer and other assigned equipment safely.
• Wash down and maintain plant areas for housekeeping and safety.
• Assist with plant maintenance tasks, repairs, and general labor.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
