Lewis Tree Service is hiring a Groundperson to support utility vegetation management teams. You will clear vegetation near power lines, operate ground tools, assist climbers, and help with rigging and tree felling while maintaining site safety and organization.

The role requires physical stamina for outdoor work in varying conditions and frequent travel to sites, with opportunities for training and career advancement within a leading North American vegetation management company.

Qualifications

• Groundperson certification (or ability to complete).
• CPR/First Aid certification provided by Lewis; herbicide applicator certification (or ability to complete).
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsabilités

• Clear vegetation and debris from work sites around power lines.
• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, blowers and sprayers.
• Spot and assist climbers from the ground; help with rigging and tree felling.
• Set up traffic control zones and travel to different job sites frequently.
• Follow safety protocols and protect coworkers and the public.
