Job summary

KC Sprinkler Pros in Kansas City, MO is seeking full-time Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers (SOC 37-3011.00). The role includes installing and maintaining sprinkler systems, sod laying, planting, watering, and related landscape tasks, with a 7:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule, Monday–Friday.

Workers must be able to lift 50 lbs, endure adverse weather, and may undergo random drug testing. Optional furnished housing is available up to $475/month.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain lawn sprinklers and perform sprinkler system start-up and winterization activities.
• Sod laying, planting, watering, digging, hauling and leveling topsoil as part of landscape tasks.
• Assist with general landscaping duties and operate related equipment as needed.

• Job Duties:Duties may include: Install and maintain lawn sprinklers, tasks may include sprinkler system start-up & winterization. Turn off sprinkler water supply, drain the system (manually or automatically depending on system) and blow out to remove remaining water with an air compressor. Sod laying, trimming, planting, watering, digging haul, rake and level topsoil & other related Landscape Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org).
• Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).
• Optional, shared furnished housing available to the worker at a monthly housing rate up to $475.00; If optional housing is agreed upon by the worker, monthly housing rate is to be paid directly to the landlord each month.
