Job summary

Rotolo Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeping Laborer to maintain a variety of industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will operate commercial landscaping equipment and care for plant material, helping to create beautiful outdoor environments.

Experience in landscaping is preferred; a valid driver’s license is a plus. RCI offers Medical, Dental, Vision and Liability insurance, a 401K with partial match, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape or similar industry.
• Knowledge and ability to use landscape-related tools (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operating vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, and pruning saws.
• Caring for lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, and edging around flower beds.
• Using hand tools like shovels, rakes, and pruners for maintenance tasks.
• Pruning or trimming trees, shrubs, or hedges with appropriate tools.
• Gathering and removing litter; raking leaves and composting.
• Following landscaping designs to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers.
