Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Groundskeeper in Nashville to maintain and improve facility grounds per sustainability guidelines. You will perform planting, mowing, weed control, fertilizing, and general upkeep while operating power landscape equipment.

The role requires a prior groundskeeping or horticulture background, a non-commercial driver’s license, and adherence to safety policies. Expect exposure to outdoor elements and seasonal conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or horticulture preferred.
• Non-commercial driver's license required.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping principles and power landscape equipment.
• Must adhere to safety procedures.
• Work involves exposure to extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and improves facility grounds based on established sustainability guidelines.
• Applies planned designs to resolve landscaping needs.
• Performs tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking.
• Operates various types of equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers.
• May operate trucks, tractors and attachments used to maintain grounds as needed.
• Responsible for cleaning and upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc.
• Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedure and reports any malfunctions/defects to supervisor immediately.
