Job summary

Thompson Pipe - USA is seeking a Groundskeeping Lead to oversee landscape maintenance across multiple properties in Texas. This hands-on role ensures appearance, safety, irrigation, and curb appeal align with company standards.

You will supervise crews, schedule work, manage vendors, and support budget and safety initiatives while maintaining a positive, safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional horticulture, landscaping, or facilities management training preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience.
• Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant care, turf maintenance, and landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise landscape maintenance operations for multiple commercial and company-owned properties.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure landscaping meets quality and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation, fertilization, weed control, and seasonal plantings.
• Ensure all grounds, parking lots, walkways, and exterior common areas remain clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Monitor irrigation systems and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Coordinate seasonal projects including flower rotations, tree trimming, mulch installation, and storm cleanup.

Groundskeeping LeadPosition SummaryThe Commercial Landscape Lead is responsible for overseeing landscape maintenance operations across multiple commercial properties (Texas) and company-owned locations. This is a hands-on role. This role ensures all properties are maintained to company standards for appearance, safety, irrigation, and overall curb appeal.
