Working as part of a field crew, you'll travel between sites on a set route and complete scheduled maintenance to Advanced Landscape's quality and safety standards.Core ResponsibilitiesLawn care: Mow, edge, and fertilize turf areas to a clean, consistent finish.Plant and tree upkeep: Prune, trim, and shape shrubs, hedges, and trees.Weed and pest control: Pull weeds, apply mulch, and watch for signs of plant disease or pests, reporting issues to your crew lead.Irrigation maintenance: Check, adjust, and repair sprinkler and drip watering systems.Site cleanliness: Clear leaves, trash, and debris from walkways, turf, and hardscapes.Equipment operation: Safely operate commercial mowers, blowers, string trimmers, chainsaws, and other landscape tools.Equipment care: Perform basic daily checks and cleaning of tools and equipment, and report needed repairs.Teamwork and communication: Follow crew lead direction, stay on schedule, and represent Advanced Landscape professionally on client sites.Qualifications and RequirementsExperience: 0 to 3+ years of professional landscaping or grounds maintenance experience. Entry-level candidates are welcome; we'll train the right person.Driver's license: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Physical stamina: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for long hours, and work outdoors in varied weather.Safety awareness: Follows safety rules, wears required protective equipment, and handles power equipment properly.Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality, including early-morning start times.Compensation and Work EnvironmentPay: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with early-morning start times.Work environment: Outdoors on commercial properties in all seasons and varied weather, with regular travel between job sites. Work involves noise, dust, and exposure to plants, fertilizers, and power equipment.
