Job summary

Action Property Management is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to join the Woodside team in Sacramento. You will perform daily outdoor maintenance across common areas, assist the maintenance team, and help with event setups.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, dependable work ethic, and strong attention to detail. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with compensation of $20.00–$21.00 per hour.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of exterior grounds (dog park, tennis courts, parking areas, entrances, and other outdoor spaces).
• Remove litter and debris from common areas and ensure proper disposal.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervision.
• Assist with pressure washing sidewalks, driveways, and exterior surfaces as needed.
• Support maintenance by carrying tools and supplies; assist with minor tasks.
• Paint front doors and change lightbulbs/post heads as needed.
• Set up/break down outdoor areas for events and seasonal duties.

Action is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to join our team at Woodside located in Sacramento.

Compensation: $20.00- $21.00 Per Hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of the exterior grounds, including dog park, tennis courts, parking areas, entrances, and other outdoor spaces.
• Remove litter, debris, and trash from common areas, ensuring proper disposal.
• Remove cobwebs from carports, fixtures, and common areas such as pool decks, and recreational spaces.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the maintenance supervisor or property management team promptly.
• Assist with pressure washing sidewalks, driveways, and other exterior surfaces as needed.
• Support the maintenance and engineering team by carrying tools, supplies, and assisting with minor maintenance tasks.
• Change lightbulbs and post heads.
• Clear and cut up fallen trees – when needed to assist the maintenance team.
• Paint front doors.
• Refill Doggie Bags throughout property.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of cleaning and maintenance equipment.
• Help set up and break down outdoor areas for community events when needed.
• Perform seasonal duties such as setting up sandbags, and clearing drains as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills /Abilities:

• Relevant experience in groundskeeping, general labor, or maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
