Job summary

Action Property Management, the leader in community management, is seeking a Compliance Coordinator in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on monitoring aesthetic standards and governing documents through regular property inspections and documenting violations to uphold quality and safety.

The position offers $30.00 per hour plus a monthly car allowance, with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property or community association management preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and objectivity when assessing issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile inspection tools.
  • Valid CA driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexible for occasional evening or weekend inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the community to identify violations.
  • Capture and upload photos and notes using the compliance software.
  • Issue notices and follow up in accordance with policy.
  • Track open violations to resolution with accurate records.
  • Communicate with residents professionally.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and board meetings.
  • Collaborate with GM and staff for consistent enforcement.
  • Attend board or committee meetings as needed.
  • Assist with other administrative duties or special projects.

Action Property Management, the leader in community management, is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join our team at our locatedin the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the community’s aesthetic standards and governing documents by conducting regular property inspections and documenting violations. This role plays a key part in upholding the quality, safety, and overall appearance of the community. The ideal candidate is observant, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging with residents in a courteous and professional manner.

Compensation: $30.00 per hour + Monthly Car Allowance

Schedule: Monday- Friday; 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols of the community using a personal vehicle to identify and document potential violations of the association’s CC&R, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Capture and upload clear, detailed photos and notes of each violation using the association’s compliance software.
  • Issue courtesy notices, violation letters, and follow-up communications in accordance with association policy and timelines.
  • Track and manage open violations through resolution, maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Communicate with residents in a professional and respectful manner when addressing compliance matters.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and board meetings as requested.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Administrative staff to ensure consistent enforcement and timely follow-up.
  • Attend board or committee meetings as needed to provide compliance updates or clarification.
  • Assist with other administrative duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Previous experience in property management, community association management or code enforcement preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain objective when assessing potential violations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and mobile inspection/reporting tools.
  • Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for daily patrols.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • May require flexibility for occasional evening or weekend inspections.
