Job summary

Arcan Capital in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior and common areas of our community. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and Technicians by keeping grounds clean, breezeways clear, and public spaces presentable.

You may assist with apartment turnovers, light repairs, and basic landscaping. A strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork are essential to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of groundskeeping or general maintenance experience required.
• Basic knowledge of painting, landscaping, and apartment maintenance.
• Experience in the apartment or property-management industry is preferred.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of grounds, breezeways, and amenities.
• Collect and dispose of daily trash and debris; empty waste containers.
• Assist with turning vacant apartments, including light cleaning and removal of items.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as painting, light fixtures, and minor repairs.
• Operate lawn and landscaping equipment to maintain outdoor areas.
• Report safety concerns or repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
