Job summary

Greystar seeks a maintenance/grounds associate to keep the community clean, safe, and well-maintained. You will perform inspections, assist with make-ready units, and ensure lock security and pool area safety, while delivering courteous resident service.

The role requires standing and light lifting, a valid driver’s license for golf cart operation, and adherence to safety policies. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods; lift up to 25 lb alone and 50 lb with help.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community daily and keep common areas neat; remove litter.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments and prepare units for turnover.
• Complete routine service requests and assist the make-ready process.
• Change locks according to policy and ensure pool gates meet safety standards.
• Communicate notices to residents and report hazards to supervisors.
• Provide courteous service and respond to resident questions and concerns.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and related safety requirements.
