Job summary

Advanced Asset Management (AAM Living) in Sherman, TX is seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the property's grounds and common areas. You will perform lawn care, cleaning, and light maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

Weekend availability is required, and you will report issues to management. Join a team focused on efficiency, quality resident experiences, and collaborative operations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of apartment/groundskeeping or porter experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and time-management skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Willingness to work weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, landscaping, walkways, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Perform basic grounds maintenance, including mowing and trimming.
• Remove trash, debris, and other materials from property grounds.
• Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, amenities, and shared areas.
• Keep the property clean, safe, and presentable.
• Report maintenance, safety, and property issues to management.
• Assist with general cleaning, property upkeep, and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents and team members.
• Support weekend property operations when required.
