Job summary

Lewis Group of Companies is hiring a Groundskeeper for Homecoming at Terra Vista to maintain community grounds and support maintenance teams. You will perform custodial duties, ensure clean, safe areas, and deliver friendly service to residents and guests.

The role offers $21.50/hour, weekend work with Fridays and Saturdays off, and a path to maintenance roles. Growth training, and benefits include health plans, 401(k), paid time off, and rental discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor labor in all weather.
• Weekend work required with days off Friday and Saturday.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds including walkways, parking lots, and common areas
• Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, blowing, pressure washing, and trash removal
• Clean outdoor furniture, fixtures, and maintenance areas
• Report safety concerns or maintenance needs to the team
• Provide courteous, helpful customer service to residents and guests
• Support the maintenance team with additional tasks as needed

As a Groundskeeper at Homecoming at Terra Vista , you'll play a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, safety, and much more for our community. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent service will help create a welcoming environment for residents and guests alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain community grounds including walkways, parking lots, and common areas

• Report any safety concerns or maintenance needs to the appropriate team members
• Provide courteous, helpful customer service to residents and guests
• Support the maintenance team with additional tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Previous groundskeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
• Must be available to work weekends (days off: Friday and Saturday)
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
