WinnCompanies is seeking a Groundskeeper for Park Vista, a 392-unit affordable housing property in Anaheim, CA. You will perform landscaping to maintain appearance and condition per ownership standards, and work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $15.88 to $18.00, commensurate with experience, and requires light maintenance tasks, basic English, and a valid driver's license. On-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to perform all physical functions of the role.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours.

Responsabilités

• Maintain grounds by planting, fertilizing, and pruning shrubs and flowers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on grounds equipment such as trimmers and mowers.
• Water lawns and flowers and mow as required by site rules.
• Keep grounds clean by picking up litter and sweeping walkways.
• Assist in inclement weather with snow and ice removal.
• Perform indoor work during inclement weather as assigned.
• Handle special assignments from Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

About the opportunity

WinnCompanies is searching for a Groundskeeper to join our team at Park Vista, a 392-unit affordable housing property located in Anaheim, CA.

In this role you will perform landscaping functions to ensure the appearance and physical condition of the property is maintained to ownership and management expectations.

Please note that the pay range for this position is $15.88 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Additionally, the selected candidate will typically work: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds by planting, fertilizing, and watering flowers; edging and weeding flower beds; installing mulch; and pruning shrubs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on grounds equipment, such as trimmers, edgers, and lawn mowers.
• Water the grass and flowers by moving hoses around the property, according to the property water plan. Depending upon the site requirements, mow the grass.
• Keep the grounds clean by picking up paper, emptying trash receptacles, and sweeping the parking lot and walkways.
• Assist in inclement weather with snow and ice removal.
• Perform assigned indoor work during inclement weather.
• Perform special assignments as needed or requested by Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to speak and understand basic English.
• Ability to perform all physical functions of the role.
• Ability to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.
