Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Groundskeeper to join our team in Florida. The role involves maintaining outdoor areas, performing trash-out duties, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across our communities.

Candidates should be self-motivated with strong communication abilities and a willingness to learn. The position offers full-time hours, potential weekend work, and opportunities to contribute to resident satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of building maintenance.
• Able to work independently and have a willingness to learn.
• Must have good communication abilities.
• No formal training required, just a willingness to work/learn.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property regularly, remove litter and debris.
• Perform trash-out duties at vacated apartments.
• Notify manager of diseased or dead landscaping.
• Be aware of chemical or fertilizing postings.
• Transfer trash from outside dumpsters into the dumpster.
• Detail property; keep sidewalks and parking areas clear of leaves and debris.
• Check and replace exterior lighting regularly.
• Clean and maintain pool and/or spa as directed.
• Repair and maintain windows, doors, and other features.
• Shovel snow, plow and salt or use ice melt as needed.
• Clean laundry room areas if housekeeping is unavailable.
• Maintain awareness of safety precautions.
• Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways and stairwells as needed.
• Distribute resident communications and notices.
• Support Peak Living goals for resident satisfaction and retention.
• Handle tools and equipment safely and properly.
