Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the everyday upkeep of our apartment communities in Houston, ensuring grounds, amenities and curb appeal meet high standards. You will perform cleaning, make-ready tasks, lock changes, hazard reporting, and respond to resident inquiries with professionalism, while adhering to safety policies and company values.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to interact with residents and team members.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Willingness to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and respond to requests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect community grounds, common areas, and amenities to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Remove debris, empty trash, and prepare vacants for turn/lease-up.
• Complete routine service requests and assist with make-ready tasks and turns.
• Change locks as needed and ensure pool area gates comply with codes.
• Communicate hazards to supervisors and maintain resident relations.
• Attend safety trainings and adhere to OSHA and safety requirements.
