Job summary

A municipal government agency is looking for a Groundskeeper- Promontory to maintain community grounds and enhance curb appeal. This role involves hands-on work in various outdoor locations, performing tasks such as cleaning, pruning, and vegetation management. Entry-level candidates are welcome, and experience in groundskeeping is a plus. The job requires good communication skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely. Flexible scheduling may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimal to no previous groundskeeping experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• One year groundskeeping or park maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure community grounds are maintained and meet standards.
• Clean and remove debris from turf and bed areas.
• Prune shrubs and maintain landscape beds.
• Assist with herbicide application and vegetation management.
• Operate various grounds equipment safely and efficiently.
