Job summary

Power Brace Manufacturing is seeking a groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and safety of our facility grounds in Des Moines, IA. The role requires at least one year of groundskeeping or landscaping experience and the ability to perform manual labor in varied weather.

You will operate and maintain lawn equipment, perform mowing, trimming, mulching, and snow/ice removal, and follow safety procedures under supervision or independently as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of groundskeeping or landscaping experience.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of basic gardening and landscaping practices and techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the manufacturing facility grounds including mowing and trimming.
• Fertilize, mulch, and care for landscaping as needed.
• Remove trash, debris, snow, and ice from grounds and parking areas.
• Paint and power wash buildings and signage as required.
• Operate and maintain lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, shovels, and other equipment safely.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervisor.
• Work independently or in a team as needed.
