Job summary

Houston Apartment Foundation is seeking a Groundskeeper for its Tyler property to maintain lawns, landscapes, and outdoor spaces. The role involves mowing, trimming, edging, aerating, and fertilizing lawns, plus planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and sod with mulch applications.

You will also clean walkways, parking areas, and recreational spaces, and operate landscape tools such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, and chainsaws. Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm schedule; pay $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience operating landscaping power tools and hand tools.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Maintain clean and neat grounds appearance.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, edging, aerating, and fertilizing lawns
• Installing trees, shrubs, flowers, and sod, and applying mulch
• Disposing litter and cleaning walkways, parking lots and recreational areas
• Using hand/power tools and machinery such as blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, typical lawn mowers and zero-turn mowers
• Performing minor repairs on equipment and exterior structures like fences or benches
