Job description

We are seeking a Plastics Machine Operator to maintain machinery and ensure the production of high-quality products at a Tier 1 Automotive facility. No prior experience is required for this position.

The Plastics Machine Operator will be responsible for picking up plastic parts on a conveyor belt, inspecting for visual defects, labeling parts, and transporting them to the designated workstation.

Shift(s) Available:

• 1st shift: 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• 2nd shift: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. ($15.50/hr + $.50 shift premium, incentive = $16.00/hr)
• 3rd shift: 11 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. ($15.50/hr + shift premium)

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Visually inspect parts for defects.
• Wipe, label, and sort parts.
• Maintain records of rejected and approved parts.
• Cut excess plastic.
• Print labels and label boxes.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal).
• Stand for up to 10 hours.
• Follow directions from supervisors.
• Work well in a team environment.
