Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring for full time and part time groundskeeper roles in Jerome, ID. Openings at other district locations also available. Shifts 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet scheduling needs.

Position involves lawn care, plant maintenance, trimming, pruning, and basic janitorial tasks, with benefits and same-day pay. Must have valid non-CDL Class C license and prior groundskeeping experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping experience is preferred.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules.
• Trims, prunes and removes scrubs, bushes and trees.
• Performs general janitorial duties including property inspections, landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Mows lawns weekly during the proper season; cleans tools after use.
• Weeds flowerbeds weekly or more often if needed.
• Shovels exterior walkways during winter; salts or sands icy walkways as needed.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Inspects areas and reports deficiencies to Maintenance Supervisor.
