Clovis Community College in New Mexico is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to support landscaping, irrigation, and general outdoor upkeep. The role covers mowing, edging, equipment maintenance, and minor repairs to sprinkler systems.
Responsibilities include installing and maintaining irrigation, reading blueprints, and ensuring safe, reliable outdoor operations while meeting campus needs and schedules.
Under general supervision, perform grounds maintenance functions including water, raking, and mowing. Assist with landscaping, repair and maintenance of small equipment, sprinkler, and water lines.

Position requires frequent to continuous standing, kneeling, climbing, and moving in the shop and the campus. Working around and with machinery having moving parts. Exposure to chemicals used in the control of pests and weed control. Loud noises from equipment operation. Occasional pushing and pulling of up to 100 lbs. Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
