Clovis Community College is seeking a Grounds Maintenance worker to perform outdoor care and system upkeep. The role involves operating lawn equipment, mowing, trimming, irrigation monitoring, and basic repairs to sprinklers and related infrastructure.
Must have at least one year of maintenance experience with sprinkler systems, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a hands-on assessment. The position requires flex hours and a commitment to campus safety and cleanliness.

Under general supervision, perform grounds maintenance functions including water, raking, and mowing. Assist with landscaping, repair and maintenance of small equipment, sprinkler, and water lines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires frequent to continuous standing, kneeling, climbing, and moving in the shop and the campus. Working around and with machinery having moving parts. Exposure to chemicals used in the control of pests and weed control. Loud noises from equipment operation. Occasional pushing and pulling of up to 100 lbs. Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Include but are not limited to: Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma and two years' experience in grounds maintenance or landscape construction is preferred.
