Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking a full-time facilities associate to maintain grounds, irrigation, and landscaping. You will monitor fertilization and pest programs and address safety and aesthetic issues on site.

Ideal candidates have high school or an associate degree, basic computer skills, and are mechanically inclined with hand tools; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Organizational knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures within a field.
• Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitors fertilization and insecticide programs and treats as needed.
• Performs landscaping of grounds as scheduled and needed.
• Evaluates and reports conditions that detract from safety or aesthetics.
• Removes debris and addresses hazardous conditions.
• Assists contractors and vendors with on-site events or maintenance.
• Maintains irrigation systems and notifies Facility Leadership of major problems.
