Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure cleanliness throughout our Casino property. Responsibilities include floor care, detail cleaning, trash removal, and grounds maintenance.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or a technical certificate and have at least three years of experience with commercial cleaning equipment. Candidates must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand for the duration of their shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy duty housekeeping duties in all areas of the Casino property.
• Detail cleaning of equipment, washing, sweeping, sanitizing.

Under the supervision of the Public Space Supervisor, the incumbent performs heavy duty housekeeping duties in all areas of the Casino property. Duties include floor/carpet care, detail cleaning of equipment, washing, sweeping, sanitizing, trash removal and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certificate and at least three years of experience with commercial/industrial cleaning equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and stand on feet for the entire shift. Position requires standing, stooping, bending, crouching and climbing continuously.

Work Environment

• May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
• Tasks frequently require standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent lifting/carrying of weights over 25 pounds, reaching, stooping, squatting and bending.
