Job summary

FirstService Residential in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the building’s exterior and grounds. You will perform lawn care, debris removal, and equipment upkeep, ensuring safe, clean surroundings for residents and guests. The role is full-time and offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training.

Schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with weekends off. Experience with handheld tools and a safety-focused approach to chemical handling are valued,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience using handheld tools such as weed cutter, push lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum and blower.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.
• Must comply with OSHA and EPA guidelines concerning storage and use of chemical substances.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and markers.
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in safe condition.
• May be required to assist in the loading and unloading of supplies, equipment and/or merchandise.
• Maintains, services, cleans and properly stores equipment.
• Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment.
