Job summary

Aramark Nexus is hiring a Groundskeeper to support our Caprock workforce hospitality community near Mobeetie, Texas, about 30 minutes from Pampa and 90 minutes from Amarillo. This full-time, hands-on role focuses on grounds maintenance, landscaping, and safety, with an hourly pay of $20 and on-site private housing and meals.

You will operate lawn care equipment, perform planting, mowing, and seasonal tasks for a large hospitality community serving guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of groundskeeping equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and improves facility grounds based on sustainability guidelines.
• Applies planned designs to address landscaping needs.
• Performs planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, and snow removal as required.
• Operates power mowers, saws, hedge trimmers, sprayers, and related equipment.
• May operate trucks, tractors and attachments for grounds work.
• Cleans and maintains sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports malfunctions promptly.

Job description

Aramark Nexus is hiring a Groundskeeper to support our Caprock workforce hospitality community near Mobeetie, Texas, approximately 30 minutes from Pampa and 90 minutes from Amarillo.

This is a full-time, hands‑on grounds maintenance and landscaping position paying $20.00 per hour, with free private housing and meals provided on site.

As a Groundskeeper at Caprock, you will help maintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of a large hospitality community serving hundreds of guests and employees. The role includes mowing, trimming, landscaping, maintaining sidewalks and parking areas, operating grounds equipment, and supporting seasonal needs.

Candidates with experience as a Groundskeeper, Grounds Maintenance Worker, Landscaping Technician, Lawn Care Technician, Property Maintenance Worker, or Facilities Grounds Worker are encouraged to apply.

This role requires regular outdoor work and exposure to changing weather conditions and extreme temperatures. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical work and safely operating landscaping and groundskeeping equipment.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 to $20.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount Aramark expects to offer. This represents Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains and improves facility grounds based on established sustainability guidelines
• Applies planned designs to resolve landscaping needs
• Performs tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, removing ice, etc
• Operates various types of equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, sprayers, etc
• May be required to operate trucks, tractors and attachments used to maintain grounds as needed
• Responsible for cleaning and upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc
• Performs regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedure and reports any malfunctions/defects to supervisor immediately

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping/horticulture preferred
• Working knowledge of groundskeeping principals and power landscape equipment
• Must be able to adhere to safety procedures
• Work involves exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
