Aramark Nexus is hiring a Dining Hall Manager to lead a high-volume dining operation at Caprock, our workforce hospitality community near Mobeetie, Texas. You will oversee daily dining hall operations, supervise two Assistant Managers, and collaborate with culinary leadership to maintain guest satisfaction, safety, and service standards.

This on-site role offers open, flexible availability with hours generally from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining hall operations with a focus on service, quality, cleanliness, efficiency, and guest experience.
• Lead and develop two Assistant Managers, establishing clear expectations and accountability across the operation.
• Supervise, coach, and support frontline dining employees while building a positive, high-performing team.
• Manage payroll, labor, operating expenses, and assigned budgets.
• Monitor labor and operating performance and make adjustments based on business and service needs.
• Manage food service supplies and inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, inventory levels, and cost controls.
• Partner closely with culinary leadership to coordinate meal periods, production, service levels, and guest needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and Aramark operating standards.
• Maintain appropriate staffing and leadership coverage across a seven-day dining operation.
• Address guest questions, concerns, and service issues quickly and professionally.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and development of dining employees.
• Maintain a visible, hands-on leadership presence throughout the dining hall and step into the operation when needed.

Aramark Nexus is hiring a Dining Hall Manager to lead dining operations at Caprock, our large-scale workforce hospitality community near Mobeetie, Texas, approximately 30 minutes east of Pampa.

The Dining Hall Manager is responsible for leading a high-volume dining operation and delivering a consistent, welcoming experience for every guest. This leader will oversee daily dining hall operations, manage and develop the team, maintain strong safety and service standards, control labor and operating costs, and ensure the operation is prepared to serve guests every day.

This position will directly lead two Assistant Managers and work closely with culinary and site leadership to maintain a well-run operation across all hours of service.

Caprock operates seven days a week. This position requires open and flexible availability, with dining operations generally occurring between 5:30 AM and 8:00 PM. The Dining Hall Manager's schedule will vary based on business needs and will not typically cover the full operating window each day.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Dining Hall Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Dining Services Manager, or Food Service Manager who enjoys leading teams, managing high-volume operations, and creating a strong guest experience.

Eligible employees receive private, single-occupancy housing at no cost, along with three meals per day while working at Caprock. Private accommodations include a bed, work area, television, lockable door, and a dedicated bathroom and shower.

Living on site eliminates a daily commute and puts employees close to the operation and Caprock's growing amenities. Housing is provided while actively working at Caprock, with flexibility for employees to return home during scheduled time off.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of food service, dining, restaurant, or hospitality experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in food service required.
• Experience leading employees in a high-volume dining environment strongly preferred.
• Experience managing or supporting payroll, labor, budgets, supplies, and inventory.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop supervisors, assistant managers, or frontline teams.
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and operational compliance.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain service and operating standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working closely with culinary, operations, and other site leadership.
• Must be comfortable living and working in a workforce community environment.
• Must have open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of a seven-day operation.
• Dining operations typically run from approximately 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with leadership schedules varying based on operational needs.
