Job summary

Coastal Building Maintenance is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper to maintain athletic fields and irrigation systems. The role requires attention to detail, outdoor work, and the ability to work Monday through Friday on-site in Miami, Florida.

The candidate should be comfortable line-marking fields, operating mowers and irrigation equipment, and able to work independently or with a team while ensuring safe, high-quality field conditions for practices and events.

Qualifications

• Groundskeeping or turf/athletic-field experience preferred.
• Experience with irrigation systems is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain athletic fields and surrounding turf areas.
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and general field maintenance.
• Line and mark athletic fields accurately for practices, games, and events.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation systems.
• Troubleshoot basic irrigation issues and report repairs when needed.
• Adjust irrigation based on weather and field conditions.
• Prepare and maintain fields for practices, games, and events.
• Safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, field-lining equipment, and other grounds equipment.
• Keep fields clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Perform other grounds maintenance duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable bilingual Groundskeeper to help maintain our athletic fields and irrigation systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working outdoors.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain athletic fields and surrounding turf areas.
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and general field maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating commercial grounds equipment is a plus.
• Turf maintenance or irrigation certifications are preferred but not required.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

The right candidate does not need to have every qualification. We are looking for someone dependable, willing to learn, and interested in maintaining quality athletic fields.
