Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic irrigation issues and report repairs when needed.
• Adjust irrigation based on weather and field conditions.
• Prepare and maintain fields for practices, games, and events.
• Safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, field-lining equipment, and other grounds equipment.
• Keep fields clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Perform other grounds maintenance duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable bilingual Groundskeeper to help maintain our athletic fields and irrigation systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working outdoors.

Main Responsibilities

1. Maintain athletic fields and surrounding turf areas.
2. Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and general field maintenance.
3. Line and mark athletic fields accurately for practices, games, and events.
4. Inspect and maintain irrigation systems.
5. Troubleshoot basic irrigation issues and report repairs when needed.
6. Adjust irrigation based on weather and field conditions.
7. Prepare and maintain fields for practices, games, and events.
8. Safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, field-lining equipment, and other grounds equipment.
9. Keep fields clean, safe, and ready for use.
10. Perform other grounds maintenance duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, turf, or athletic-field experience is a plus.
2. Experience lining or marking athletic fields is a plus.
3. Irrigation experience or knowledge is a plus.
4. Experience operating commercial grounds equipment is a plus.
5. Turf maintenance or irrigation certifications are preferred but not required.
6. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
