Job summary

Cottonwood Residential in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain our property grounds and assist with basic maintenance. You’ll remove trash, sweep and pressure wash walkways, perform light gardening, and keep common areas clean and inviting.

This role supports a fast-paced team focused on resident satisfaction and safe, well-kept surroundings. Qualifications include strong English communication, on-call availability for nights and weekends, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers and interpret safety procedures.
• Available to work on-call during nights/weekends and company events.
• Ability to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods and navigate elevation changes.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and litter from the property grounds.
• Sweep and pressure wash pathways and buildings.
• Perform basic gardening and weeding.
• Clean windows and common furniture.
• Complete general maintenance tasks related to building and grounds repairs.

Qualifications & Required Experience of a Groundskeeper

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Available to work on-call during nights/weekends and Company events.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and ability to navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and ability to navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
