Job summary

CCBC is seeking a Groundskeeper Associate to maintain college grounds and landscaping in a full-time role. The position may require shift changes and includes a background check and physical prior to promotion, with benefits eligibility after promotion.

Responsibilities include lawn care, planting, pruning, maintenance work, snow removal, and event support across campus facilities. High school diploma or equivalent is required; a clean driving record is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in institutional or commercial groundskeeping preferred.
• Flexibility and ability to change shift when requested.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Background check and physical exam may be required before promotion.

Responsibilities

• Mows, trims, edges grass areas; weeds, cultivates, mulches beds; prune trees and shrubs.
• Plant, transplant, prune, and care for landscape items; fertilize and water as needed.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to campus landscaping and gardens.
• Participate in landscaping project work and campus exterior maintenance.
• Operate grounds-related equipment and perform minor preventative maintenance.
• Support snow removal and campus cleanup efforts; assist in events and activities.
