Job summary

The Billy Graham Training Center in Asheville, NC seeks a Groundskeeper Associate to maintain the landscaping and grounds with professional quality. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, operate equipment, and collaborate with maintenance staff to keep facilities safe and welcoming for guests.

The role requires reliability, basic reading and math skills, and a personal commitment to Christian service in line with BGEA’s mission.

Qualifications

• Maintains high quality workmanship in groundskeeping.
• Operates maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follows BGEA policies and procedures.
• Basic reading and mathematical skills.
• Communicates with supervisor and the public as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grounds maintenance for The Billy Graham Training Center.
• Coordinate with the Supervisor and request materials/equipment as needed.
• Follow general landscaping and groundskeeping practices.
• Wear PPE and read MSDS for any chemicals used.
• Wear safety belts when operating vehicles and equipment.
• Work as a team member with fellow staff for the department.
• Represent the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association with integrity.
