Job Description

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and improving site grounds. Assigned work includes mowing, trimming, leaf removal, and duties related to inclement weather, such as snow removal, which may vary by season.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain and improve facility grounds following established sustainability guidelines.
2. Apply planned designs to address landscaping needs.
3. Perform tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, and ice removal.
4. Operate various equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and sprayers.
5. Operate trucks, tractors, and attachments as needed for grounds maintenance.
6. Clean and maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc.
7. Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools.
8. Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting any malfunctions or defects immediately.
