Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Groundskeeper 2 maintains grounds in an attractive and orderly condition by trimming lawns, removing leaves and debris, and performing other related tasks. Operates and maintains grounds equipment as necessary. The Groundskeeper 2 also performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications (Agency Specific)

Preference will be given to applicants, who in addition to meeting the minimum requirements, possess a high school diploma or GED and six (6) months of experience maintaining and operating grounds equipment.

Competencies:

Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of insecticides and chemicals and proper usage. Working ability to follow oral/ written instructions. Ability to avoid distractions while performing assigned duties.
