Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Grounds Keeper to maintain outdoor spaces, plants, and grounds at our Virginia location. Start date as early as September, with a pay range of $17–$18 per hour.

Responsibilities include trimming, watering, and general upkeep to ensure a welcoming first impression for guests. Full-time benefits are offered, and experience in landscape maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of landscape experience is helpful.
• Knowledge in planting and shrub maintenance required.
• Previous experience with exterior plant maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plants and grounds, including picking up trash and watering plants as necessary.
• Trim, prune, fertilize, and maintain trees, plants and shrubs.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good condition through inspection and maintenance programs.
• Keep resort grounds maintained so guests are not inconvenienced by repairs or maintenance.

Grounds Keeper

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Grounds Staff.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds outside the building to include but not limitedtotrimming of grass, trees, shrubs, removal, and planting of all types of plants, as well as snow removal and hazards/obstructions removal.

As part of our leadership team,you’llembody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.You’llmaintainclean, safe, and visually appealing outdoor spaces, creating a welcoming first impressionfor our guests.

Position starting as early as September.

Pay Rate - $17 - $18/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all plants and grounds to include but not limitedtopick up all trash, water all plants, shrubs, trees, flowers, as necessary.
• Trim, prune, fertilize andmaintainall trees,plantsand shrubs on the grounds.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure resort grounds aremaintainedso that guests are notinconveniencedbecause of repairs or maintenance.
