Job summary

Ravenwood Golf Club is seeking seasonal groundskeepers to aid in daily maintenance of the golf course under the Golf Course Superintendent. Tasks include routine manual labor and semi-skilled landscape work with small equipment.

Experience is not required; 40 hours per week with overtime. The role includes limited golf privileges, driving range use, and uniforms. Schedule varies with early morning shifts and weekend work.

Job description

Groundskeepers, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment.

Experience not needed. 40 hours a week plus time and half for overtime. This is a seasonal position. Some part time positions are available as well.

General Schedule: Monday to Thursday 4:00am to 12:30pm. Friday 4:00am to 8:00am. Saturday or Sunday 3:30am to 7:30am. Limited golf privileges and driving range use. Uniforms included.

Pay based on experience: $18.00-$19.50/Hour

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of methods and materials used in grounds and landscape area construction/maintenance work.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
• Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
• Physical strength, stamina and agility.
• Available to work one weekend morning each week during the season
• Works well as part of a team
• Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Dependable and punctualComfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Available for early morning shifts
• Reliable personal transportation required
