Job summary

Ravenwood Golf Club is seeking a seasonal groundskeeper to perform routine maintenance on the golf course under supervision. You will assist with grounds construction, operate small hand-powered equipment, and work early morning shifts to help maintain the course in all weather conditions.

Uniforms are provided. This role offers limited golf privileges and driving range access, with overtime pay and a 40-hour work week. Experience is not required, and transportation is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods and materials used in grounds and landscape construction/maintenance.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
• Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
• Physical strength, stamina and agility.
• Available to work one weekend morning each week during the season.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable personal transportation required.

Job description

Groundskeepers, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment.Experience not needed. 40 hours a week plus time and half for overtime. This is a seasonal position. Some part time positions are available as well.General Schedule: Monday to Thursday 4:00am to 12:30pm. Friday 4:00am to 8:00am. Saturday or Sunday 3:30am to 7:30am.Limited golf privileges and driving range use.
