Job summary

Ravenwood Golf Club, Inc. is seeking seasonal Groundskeepers to support golf course maintenance under the Golf Course Superintendent. Expect 40 hours weekly with overtime pay at time and a half; some part-time positions may be available.

Work includes early mornings, weekends, and outdoor duties with uniforms provided and limited golf privileges. Knowledge of grounds maintenance methods and tool operation is required, along with teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of methods and materials used in grounds and landscape construction/maintenance.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
• Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
• Physical strength, stamina and agility.
• Available to work one weekend morning each week during the season.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Available for early morning shifts.
• Reliable personal transportation required.

Job description

Groundskeepers, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment. Experience not needed. 40 hours a week plus time and half for overtime. This is a seasonal position. Some part time positions are available as well.

General Schedule: Monday to Thursday 4:00am to 12:30pm. Friday 4:00am to 8:00am. Saturday or Sunday 3:30am to 7:30am.

Limited golf privileges and driving range use. Uniforms included.

Pay based on experience: $18.00-$19.50/Hour
