Job summary

AdventHealth Carrollwood in Tampa, FL is seeking a maintenance groundskeeper who monitors fertilization and insecticide programs, performs landscaping, maintains irrigation systems, and supports on-site events or vendors. You will help keep grounds safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing, reporting major issues to Facility Leadership.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year experience preferred, valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and familiarity with hand tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or higher
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical or vocational training preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors fertilization and insecticide programs and treats as needed.
• Maintains irrigation systems and notifies leadership of major problems.
• Assists contractors and vendors with on-site events or maintenance.
• Evaluates conditions that detract from safety or aesthetics of the premises.
• Removes debris and addresses hazardous conditions.

Job Description:

Other duties as assigned. Monitors fertilization and insecticide programs and treats as needed. Performs landscaping of grounds as scheduled and needed. Evaluates and reports conditions that detract from the safety or aesthetic value of the premises. Removes debris and addresses hazardous conditions. Assists contractors and vendors with on-site events or maintenance. Maintains all irrigation systems and notifies the Facility Leadership of any major system problems.
