Sodexo is seeking a Groundskeeper for the Southwest School Corporation location in Sullivan, Indiana. This full‑time role offers varying shifts and open availability; you will identify and maintain the property landscape using hand or power tools.

You bring 1–2 years of related work, horticultural training, pesticide/herbicide licenses, and potentially heavy equipment certification. The position includes comprehensive benefits, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

• Perform varied tasks such as sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, irrigation, and seasonal upkeep.
• Attend scheduled shifts reliably.
• Other duties may be assigned per client needs.

Location: Southwest School Corporation/Sodexo Bldg A - 51813001

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $8.00 per hour - $15.00 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Groundskeeper at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. We will rely on your expert knowledge to identify and maintain the property landscape.

Responsibilities include:

• Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment
• Work typically consists of a variety of tasks; examples include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, edging, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, irrigation, sweeping of parking lots and sidewalks, snow and ice management, and sports field setup and maintenance.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
  

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 – 2 years of related work experience
• Horticultural training required.
• Pesticide and herbicide application license(s)
• May require certification/license for certain Heavy Equipment
