Paycom is seeking a Groundskeeper for Residences at The Boulevard in St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on keeping exterior areas clean, safe, and visually appealing to enhance resident experience.

You will support the maintenance team, help with make-ready tasks, and ensure daily upkeep of common spaces and amenities. Ideal candidates are physically capable, detail oriented, able to work independently, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas including walkways, parking lots, breezeways, and common spaces.
• Pick up trash and debris daily across the community.
• Assist with basic landscaping tasks such as watering, weeding, and maintaining flower beds.
• Ensure amenities and outdoor areas are clean, organized, and ready for resident use.
• Assist maintenance team with trash-outs, unit turns, and preparation of vacant units.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage promptly.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain awareness of hazards.
• Interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.

Job Title: Groundskeeper/Residences at The Boulevard

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of the community. This role ensures that all common areas, amenities, and exterior spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Groundskeeper plays an important role in supporting the maintenance team and contributing to a positive resident experience through consistent attention to detail and pride in the community.

Key Responsibilities

Grounds & Curb Appeal

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all exterior areas, including walkways, parking lots, breezeways, and common spaces
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the community on a daily basis
• Assist with basic landscaping tasks such as watering, weeding, and maintaining flower beds
• Ensure amenities and outdoor areas are clean, organized, and ready for resident use

Maintenance & Make-Ready Support

• Assist the maintenance team with trash-outs, unit turns, and preparation of vacant units
• Support make-ready efforts by ensuring surrounding areas are clean and presentable
• Report any maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage promptly

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain awareness of potential hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately
• Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies

Team Support & Customer Service

• Interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
• Respond to direction from the Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner
• Contribute to a team-focused environment that prioritizes cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• A current valid drivers license is required

Preferred:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or property maintenance
• Experience in a multifamily environment
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
