Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain and care for campus grounds in Peoria, IL, including lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees. You will operate and service equipment, perform routine exterior maintenance, and support custodial tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for facility grounds including lawn areas, flower beds, plants, bulbs and flowers, shrubbery and trees.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment such as utility tractors, garden and lawn equipment, snow plows, chainsaws and all transportation vehicles.
• Assists with general custodial duties such as washing walls and windows; transports and disposes of solid waste and performs general outside maintenance duties.

Expected pay for this position is $18.85 - $21.21/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED

Other Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license

Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience in landscaping and groundskeeping

Other requirements/information: Basic understanding of general maintenance principles and the basic skills necessary to perform rudimentary maintenance tasks.
