Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Facilities Groundskeeper to maintain hospital grounds and outdoor spaces. You will remove debris, ensure the grounds are free of animals, and operate the automatic lawn sprinkler system to keep the campus safe and welcoming.

The role requires a high school education or equivalent, with preferred vocational education in grounds maintenance. About two years of experience on a 10+ acre facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures that Hospital grounds are clear of trash and other debris.
• Assures that Hospital grounds are clear of animals, animal nests and other animal residue.
• Operates and maintains Automatic Lawn Sprinkler system.
• Verifies operation of the Program Controllers.
• Performs groundskeeping duties in areas not covered under Landscaping Contract.
• Operates and maintains Lawn Care tools and equipment.
• Verifies that equipment and tools are in proper operational condition.
• Removes snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots during winter season.
