Fogelman is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the property's grounds, common areas, and amenities. The role involves outdoor upkeep, cleaning offices and interiors, and supporting the maintenance team with turnover tasks.

Ideal candidates have a year of groundskeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and may need a valid driver’s license and auto insurance depending on the property. Weekend work may be required.

Summary

The Groundskeeper maintains and ensures cleanliness of the property which includes the grounds, all common areas, and amenities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Picking up and maintaining community grounds.
• Cleaning the office and amenity areas.
• Cleaning the interior elevators / entryways.
• Cleaning and removing any trash from the trash chute rooms.
• Removal of trash in common areas.
• Operation and maintenance of the trash compactors and its surrounding areas.
• Cleaning exterior buildings and breezeways, including pressure washing.
• Minor maintenance including light bulb changes and upkeep of the pool area.
• Assists maintenance team with turnover of make-ready apartments.
• Weekend work may be required.
• Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Skills

• One year of groundskeeping experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail with ability to work independently.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Constant walking, standing, and sitting alternately; frequent climbing of stairs; occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pushing/pulling, and reaching above shoulders.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; Occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs or more.
• Strong constant finger and hand dexterity with ability to grasp/turn, touch, feel, and reach.
• Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing; ability to comprehend and speak.
• Work in a variety of conditions, including both indoors and outdoors; frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
