Job summary

Lifestyle Communities (LC) in Murfreesboro is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds and common areas at one of our luxury apartment communities.

You will remove debris, perform landscaping tasks, and ensure curb appeal. Open the pool daily and assist with seasonal duties; a valid driver's license is required. We offer health benefits, a retirement plan with company match, PTO, and family leave.

Qualifications

• High School degree is required.
• Previous maintenance, grounds or landscaping experience desired.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to operate tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Removes debris from clubhouse, pool, fitness center, driveways and other common areas to keep grounds clean.
• Performs landscaping tasks: greenspaces, weeding, mulching, sweeping, power washing stairs, and snow shoveling when needed.
• Maintains curb appeal including trash removal.
• Opens pool daily and arranges pool furniture seasonally.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily operations at one of our luxury apartment communities.

Who You Are

• Removes debris from clubhouse, pool, fitness center, driveways and other common residential areas to ensure property grounds remain clean.
• Performs necessary landscaping tasks that may include tending to green spaces, weeding, mulching or landscaping beds, sweeping and power washing stairwells and other common areas, and shoveling snow on walkways during inclement weather.
• Performs tasks to ensure upkeep and curb appeal to the community, such as trash removal or trash compaction as needed.
• Opens pool daily, ensures all pool furniture is arranged properly in season.
• Attends scheduled work shifts at assigned location on a daily basis.

What You’ll Bring

• Hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license and have the ability to operate tools and equipment while adhering to all required safety standards at all times.
