Job summary

Long Prairie Packing Company, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, is seeking a Groundskeeper for our Long Prairie, MN plant. You will perform lawn care, move equipment, and maintain warehouse cleanliness while adhering to GMPs and safety standards.

The role offers an hourly wage of $19.65 and opportunities for ongoing training to support career growth. This position is full-time, on-site in Long Prairie, MN.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet) and around moving equipment with PPE.
• Start times and hours vary; flexible schedules available 15–40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

As Groundskeeper, You Will

Perform general lawn care that includes mowing grass, spraying weeds, picking up trash.

Job Duties

• Perform general lawn care that includes mowing grass, spraying weeds, picking up trash.
• Move and store equipment in warehouses and other areas on the property.
• General housekeeping includes cleanup of warehouses and other storage areas, sweeping, organizing warehouse items.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
• NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Start times and hours vary- flexible schedules available 15-40 hours weekly.
